My family are pro-wrestling fans, so naturally we have been following the Chris Benoit tragedy. I can imagine how much stress these men are under in order to be "on top." But for the sake of entertainment, I don't think that it's right for lives to end so shortly, or painfully. Here is a link to one of the stories, as well as a pretty good explanation of how these drugs (in this article, pain killers) affect the body, why they are so addictive, and why they wreak so much havoc.

I can't imagine what the families go through.
I USED to say that I could not understand ever trying drugs that are addictive...but when I have been at my deepest points of depression, I have often wondered if drugs or alcohol would have made me feel better. I would come to my senses and would not try them but I can see how the lure of them can be so strong....aand I do understand that these are different types of drugs but still.....I can see how taking these drugs can inhnace their careers and when $$ can be such a big drug itself, then the temptation is even stronger.... the tragedy that drugs leave in thier wake is so sad....

It's worrying the number of young people using steroids.
